The annual WARA Christmas party will be held on December 8th, 2007 at 07:00PM. The location this year will be at the Regular Meeting Place. The Christmas Party will include a visit from our own special Santa Cluse, Joe, W8KNO. The WARA annual Banquet will be held on October 5th, 2007, and the price is $7.50 per person which needs to be paid by September 16th. If you are planning on attending please contact Emily (KC8RAL) at 330-394-3560 The dinner is being catered at the First United Methodist Church located at 309 North Park Ave, downtown Warren. Social starts at 5:00PM with dinner at 06:00PM. You must be paid up to attend. The same location a the club’s meeting place. On Saturday, September 6th, the club is participating in the PCARS “Ohio State Parks On The Air contest. We will be setting up at Mosquito State Park from noon to 08:00PM. The park is located On Rt 305 In Cortland. Plan on a covered dish picnic at around 05:00PM for those who helped with the setup. The Veteran’s Day Parade wil be held on November 12th, at noon starting at Perkin’s Park in Warren. The Santa Net this year will be held on December 18th, on the WARA repeater after the normal Wed. Night Net. |
